The starter vocabulary terms

1. Users

   • All users that log into BearTrack.

   • 4 types of users (Students, Teachers, Secretaries, and Admin)

2. Locations

   • Any place and student can be or create a pass to / from.

   • There should be a location for every room in the school.

   • 4 types of locations (classroom, office, bathroom, and other)

3. Zones

   • A group of locations

   • Currently Commons, Fine Arts, First Floor, & Second Floor

4. Passes

   • A pass is a modifier to a students original location. This could be a temporary pass to a bathroom, a pass to another teacher, a pass to the office, etc.

   • 2 types of passes (transit and location)

Accessing BearTrack

BearTrack and all of its internal pages are protected by Google OAuth Single Sign-On (SSO). The use of SSO maintains the security and privacy of all BearTrack pass & user data. Data inside BearTrack is subject to the same PII sharing rules as all SCPS software.
